Create Brand / Manufacturer
1. Navigate to Catalog > Manufacturers via the sidebar menu in Admin Dashboard.
2. Click the Add New button at the top right hand corner.
3. In the General tab, fill in the Manufacturer Name
4. Upload the logo / image if required, follow this tutorial if you require guidance on how to upload image.
The artboard size of the image for brands / manufacturer logo is
- width following the original size
- maximum height not exceeding 58px
5. To edit the url of the category: navigate to SEO tab and change the Default field (**The url must be unique, avoid using spaces, instead use '-')
6. After done, click Save button at the top right hand corner.
Edit Brand / Manufacturer
1. To edit the brand, click on the Edit button.
2. Then, follow the steps in Create Brand / Manufacturer starting from Step 3.
Delete Brand / Manufacturer
1. To delete a brand, select / tick the brand in the brand list and click the Delete button.
View Brand / Manufacturer Page
You can navigate to your brand / manufacturer page with the URL of https://domain.com/index.php?route=product/manufacturer, by replacing domain.com with your domain
Associate / Link Product with Brand
By following the steps below, you are assumed to have knowledge on add / edit products.
1. In the Add / Edit Product page, navigate to Links tab
2. Type in the brand / manufacturer in the Manufacturer field and select it.
3. After done, click the Save / Quick Save button.
Save button will redirect back to the product list page, while Quick Save button allows you to remain at the same page after saving.
